This human-tech synergy came to life in a recent customer experience. A motorist on a congested freeway hit debris and suffered a tire blowout. They were headed for the airport to catch an international flight. With the clock ticking, they used NSD’s digital link and were instantly connected to a nearby service provider who could get to their location in under 15 minutes.
The vehicle was a high-end model with locking lug nuts, which made the tire change more challenging. The harried motorist couldn’t find the key needed to remove the tire. The service provider took charge, calming the customer and helping them retrieve the key from the glove compartment then discovered the spare was underinflated. Fully prepared, the provider handled that too, getting the customer back on the road in time to reach the airport and make their flight.
While the customer was away, NSD arranged a tire replacement in the airport parking garage so the car would be ready upon their return. What could have been a missed flight and a major worry was resolved through fast action and support beyond the roadside.
