Audi relies on Mobileum's end-to-end service assurance and operational testing technology to provide high-quality Connected Car Services while minimizing costs.
FREMONT, CA: Mobileum Inc. (Mobileum), a leading global provider of analytics-based roaming and network services, risk management, and testing and monitoring solutions, is delighted to declare that Audi (AUDVF) has selected Mobileum's Connected Car Testing solution to test and monitor the end-to-end quality of service (QoS) of their connected cars, ensuring the highest standards of service assurance and continuity.
By 2025, Counter Point estimates that three-quarters of new automobiles will be connected. Audi ensures that its customers have the best online infotainment, safety, navigation, and communication capabilities while in the car by implementing Mobileum's Connected Car Testing solution. Audi now supports over 5 million connected vehicles across 74 countries.
Mobil eums' Connected Car Testing solution enables Audi to test connected vehicles from a centralized location remotely and provides unmatched KPIs for monitoring and improving the connected car experience. Audi has saved significant money and reduced pressure on its global supply chain by reducing costs associated with local team support and maintenance and shipping cars overseas. This solution was critical during the Covid-19 pandemic, enabling Audi to improve its quality of service (QoS) by increasing service uptime and minimizing disruptions caused by missing or faulty essential components.
Emergency Services Testing by Mobile ums is an end-to-end active testing solution for monitoring and troubleshooting emergency services and platforms. Mobileum’s global roaming test platform enables this, Global Roamer®, which has the most significant testing footprint globally and enables service providers to automate various functions, including remote eSIM provisioning and end-to-end quality of service testing and monitoring. Additionally, Mobileum will allow Audi to support critical safety features such as eCall, which automatically contacts emergency services if a vehicle is involved in a severe road accident, sharing the vehicle's location, vehicle details, and passenger count with emergency services personnel. Mobile ums' solution, patented in the United States and the European Union, supports standard numbers, enhanced numbers, and eCall, enabling operators to ensure number availability, location information transfer, and performance monitoring.
“With connected cars, the automotive and the communications worlds are converging. To meet consumer expectations, automotive manufacturers need to partner with leaders in communications industry to make sure that current and emerging connected car challenges are met and overcome. We are proud that Audi is trusting us to support their connected car testing and monitoring needs,” comments GoceTalaganov, SVP of Testing & Monitoring at Mobileum.
Connected Car Testing by Mobile ums ensures the availability of eCall, IoT Telemetry, eSIM remote provisioning, and business applications. It provides access to performance indicators, trends, and throughput meters and proactive monitoring of service degradation globally, providing independent verification of service level agreements for mobile connectivity and services on factory campuses and connected car services.
