Deepen AI and EMG, University of Warwick Introduce Safety Pool Scenario Database for ADSs

The Safety Pool project, which the World Economic Forum supports, brings together the autonomous vehicle community to make ADSs safer. The goal of the Safety Pool is to develop frameworks, processes, and infrastructures that can be shared by industry, academia, and policymakers all over the world to allow transparent testing, validation, and certification of ADSs.

FREMONT, CA: Deepen AI, a safety-first data lifecycle tools and services company, and WMG, an academic department at the University of Warwick, recently launched the Safety Pool Scenario Database. Governments, industries, and academia may use the database to test and certify Automated Driving Systems (ADSs) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and develop policy and regulatory guidance.

The Safety Pool movement has already gained traction in the AV and ADAS communities. It invites governments worldwide to participate and take the lead in introducing safety standards and certifications to their respective countries.
