KDDI has recently selected Orange Business Services to provide a customized IoT platform for Japanese automotive manufacturers Toyota and Mazda.
FREMONT, CA: KDDI, a Japanese telecommunications service provider, has selected Orange Business Services to provide a customized IoT platform for Japanese automotive manufacturers Toyota and Mazda. The platform will permit them to provide connected car capabilities in their vehicles that are sold across Europe.
Initially, the Orange solution will help the Japanese automotive manufacturers to provide connected services within 63 European countries or territories through Orange cellular connectivity.
Orange Business Services connectivity management solution participates directly into KDDI’s platform. It offers secure, dependable IoT connectivity for Toyota and Mazda to improve the driver experience with advanced services. The cloud connections are made using Orange backbone networks, which provide high-performance and secured interconnections among the parties’ platforms.
