NIO Phone from Navitas Powers with Fast Charging and Seamless EV Interaction

Next-generation GaNFast„¢ technology powers NIO's first phone with optimized "Vehicle-to-Person (V2P) integration.

Navitas Semiconductor declared that NIO, a global, leading manufacturer of new-energy vehicles, has unveiled its first smartphone, the NIO Phone, which features Navitas' next-generation gallium-nitride (GaN) GaNFast„ power ICs equipped with GaNSense„ technology. The enhancement gives end users a better vehicle-centric mobile interconnection experience by delivering flagship-level charging efficiency. To enable next-generation fast charging for mobile phones, tablets, and laptops, new GaNFast ICs are replacing legacy silicon chips.

The flagship NIO Phone has a 6.81-inch 2K variable refresh-rate curved screen with the main, ultra-wide-angle, 50 M pixel periscope telephoto cameras and the leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The NIO Phone integrates smoothly and seamlessly with smart EVs and NIO's in-car system thanks to NIO Link's panoramic interconnection technology.
