Sentinel Protocol, a provider of decentralized crowd-sourced threat intelligence platform, dedicated to safeguarding crypto assets via blockchain, has launched the Interactive Cooperation Framework API (ICF API) 2.0, which is platform independent. The company provides cryptographic market security solutions to password exchange and wallet service companies. Earlier, Sentinel Protocol had released a beta version of the ICF API on October 29, 2018.
As per a report by the International Data Corporation (IDC), investments in blockchain solutions are expected to reach USD$2.4 billion in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) by 2022. ICF API 2.0 addresses the increasing demand of various organizations for reliable security solutions. With the help of withdrawal service of ICF API, users can check if the remittance address is secure or not.
Using the enhanced framework, Sentinel Protocol provides primary security standards for cybersecurity enterprises. Primarily, it supplies granular input parameters to enable filtering of search queries. The additional filters (up to 10 fields) for the processing of the queries broadens the scope of searching blacklisted address, threat categories, crypto addresses, threat subtypes, and threat IDs among other threat related issues.
The ICF API 2.0 uses a standardization format STIX, which is widely recognized internationally. Using this recognized framework cybersecurity companies, governments, and other businesses do not require further checks on security regulations.
Moreover, the new ICF API allows exchanges and organizations with the compatibility to customize their use accordingly with the two versions of the ICF API. Sentinel Protocol understands the users’ need to move away from the experience of traditional financial experience and is working to pave the way for a simple and meaningful blockchain user experience.
